Infants and Children
HOPE Wellness Institute also treats infants. Throughout our lives, accidents and illnesses happen. Many of the injuries that children experience may not bother them much at the time but can set the stage for future problems. Whenever a problem arises it is a good idea to have it checked out before it can manifest into something larger.
We work with children of all ages with pain relief, growth issues, and various dysfunctions; working with the issue or helping to define the issue.
Although many people tend to think infants come into this world with no stress or pain, this is often not the case. Babies can be traumatized during the process of labor and delivery. The position of the baby in the uterus often results in the infant having tight muscles after birth, causing pain and dysfunction. Difficulties may be experienced in nursing from the strain on neck and jaw muscles, fussiness, or limited movement.
Being a new parent is stressful enough. When we feel our baby is in distress it is very traumatic, often the ordinary avenues of help do not help then it may be time to look for non-ordinary answers.
HOPE Wellness Institute has a long and distinguished history in Sacramento working with lactation consultants, midwives, and doctors in finding solutions for problems that do not respond to standard solutions.
We can help with:
• Nursing problems
• Failure to Thrive
• Colic
• Temperamental
• Seems to be in pain
• Developmentally delayed
• Head misshapen after delivery
• Falls & Injuries
• General checkup for optimum health and growth
• Fussy, not sleeping, uncontrolled crying
• Special Needs
Many people don’t have the ability to communicate their needs effectively. Infants, victims of accidents or strokes, Alzheimer’s, and those with other disabilities may have a partial or complete inability to communicate. Channeling and medical intuition can give us a greater ability to provide the care they need, as well as allow communication with family and friends on a different level.
